1.	According to CNN, a federal court banned the US government from enforcing the provisions of the Telecommunications Act that forbid the transmission of "indecent" material to minors over the Internet.
2.	This conflicts with earlier reports I received that the judge's decision was yet another rejection of freedom of speech on the Internet.
3.	The "Electronic Frontier Foundation" is preparing an advisory.
