2.	Thousands of weblog sites syndicate in RSS 2.0, alongside the professional publications, making RSS a democratic format that levels the playing field and provides a venue where amateurs and professionals can compete on equal terms.
3.	Microsoft, AOL, Amazon and Yahoo support the format, compatibly, as do Apple, Oracle and Cisco. Almost without exception, tech companies aren't fighting over this format.
